Updated December 20, 2007

Due to various circumstances Crawford County EMS will not be hosting an EMT class in early 2008. Prospective classes will be scheduled in the early summer with beginning dates in the fall of 2008. CCEMS apologizes for any inconvenience this causes.

All Classes are to be held at: CCEMS Station 2, 140 S. 69 HWY (1/4 mile south of 69 and 47 Jct.).

You will be required to produce documentation of a negative Tuberculosis screening before beginning

your clinical orientation. CCEMS will also require a copy of your childhood immunization record. (Tuberculosis screenings are available at the Crawford County Health Department on Mondays and read on Thursday)

Recommended Immunizations: Hepatitis B (Health Department) series of 3 shots.

There will be minimum requirements for Field Internship (EMS ride time 28 hours) and Hospital Emergency Room time (12 Hours) where you will accompany a preceptor and utilize your skills. These hours are outside the time for class.
